  • ANDY BUMATAI - A funny Hawaiian comic with off-beat and hilarious "Island" humor not often heard on the mainland
  • JAY JAMBULINGAM CHANDRASEKHAR / BROKEN LIZZARD -
    Born in 1968 in Chicago, the Tamil-American writer/director Jay Chandrasekhar is part of the five-member Broken Lizard sketch comedy team. The troupe initially christened itself "Charred Goosebeak," but quickly went with the name "Broken Lizard" was influenced by such laff-fests as the Police Academy series and the "Kentucky Fried Theater" films. He has directed episodes of Arrested Development, Undeclared, and Cracking Up.
  • HENRY CHO - He has hosted NBC's "Friday Night Videos," guested on talk shows (i.e. "The Tonight Show" and "The Arsenio Hall Show"), guest roles on sitcoms (CBS' "Designing Women," "Lenny," "The New WKRP in Cincinnati" and a starring role in FOX's TV movie, "Revenge of The Nerd II: The Next Generation") and others credidts such as NBC's "Bob Hope's Young Comedians Special," MTV's "1/2 Hour Comedy Hour" and VH- 1's "Stand-up Spotlight." His last tour was with Amy Grant and Vince Gill.
  • MARGARET CHO - From the streets to "All American Girl" - her one woman show proves she is outrageous and funny
  • TOMMY CHONG - Grammy-Award-winning comedian (whose father is Chinese and mother is Scottish-Irish) is best known in the American counterculture comedy group Cheech & Chong where they recorded six gold comedy albums - that included the 1974 Grammy winner Los Cochinos - while starring in seven films, most of which Chong co-wrote and directed.
  • KIP FULBECK - this Professor of Art and Asian American Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara who is also videomaker, novelist, slam poet, and spoken word performer has been recognized as one of the world's premier artists exploring Hapa identity. Fulbeck combines improvisation, stand-up comedy, political activism, and inspiring personal stories to explore his Cantonese, English, Irish, and Welsh background, media imagery of Asian men, interracial dating patterns, and icons of race and sex in popular culture. Professor of Art and Asian American Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
  • REX NAVARETTE - Filipino comedian
  • ROB SCHNEIDER - Comedian (whose father is Jewish mother is Filipina) started out working the comedy club circuit, opening for the likes of Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld and Dana Carvey. "Saturday Night Live" executive producer Lorne Michaels spotted him in 1990 at HBO's "13th Annual Young Comedians Special." His movie credits include The Animal, Big Daddy and Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo.
